I loved them in DTSP, and I love them in Tampa.
Bodega makes a GREAT Cubano. Even delivered via UberEats and left to sit on my counter for 20 additional minutes, it tastes great (but it is perfection eaten hot and crispy). Great quality ingredients makes a great sandwich. Their black beans and rice are also solid. I like how citrusy the beans are.
The smoothies are tasty but sadly are not available for delivery. -

While on vacation in Tampa, my friend suggested to try Bodega. She raved about how good the food was when she tried it a few months ago, and how nice it was to sit outside and eat. So, we decided to give it a go! And I'm so glad that I did!
The food was delicious!!! Plentiful portion, and just the right seasonings. Everything was so good, I loved the Plantains! I ordered the Lechon (slow roasted pork with w/ grilled onions). And I substituted to the black beans for the sweet and spicy slaw! I was so full after eating, and I still had food to take home!
I would definitely go back to The Bodega whenever I go back to Tampa! -

Bodega is located on Florida Avenue, right next to the C House and is attached to Mandarin Heights. I live right across the street so I've been to Bodega quite a few times. We even had a Bodega sandwich platter for our house-warming party which was really tasty.
The restaurant is mostly outdoors, with a few tables inside. It features 2 bars, plenty of outdoor tables, and shuffleboard. You order at the register and they give you a number, you can either sit down or take your order to-go. I've had their Lechon, Frita, and Cuban Sandwiches. All were fantastic. Their plantains are delicious too. They serve beer and wine at the main bar but there's also have a separate bar where you can order rum-based drinks. Their Mojitos are fantastic and pretty reasonable at only $9.
Overall, a solid place to grab lunch and have a few drinks when the weather is nice. Bodega is also one of the only Seminole Heights restaurants that opens before 5. -

Cute place in Seminole Heights. You can order at the window and they will bring the food to you either seating outside or there's a small area to sit inside. They do serve beer and wine as well. I had the Lechon sandwich, Cuban style roast pork with garlic Mojo, grilled onions on pressed bread. It was a huge sandwich for just over $8. Great price and what wonderful flavor. I'm still thinking about that pork. Great place, delicious food and friendly service. They have a parking lot in front of the restaurant.

I'm so glad I checked out Bodega. Being new to Tampa I've heard about this place and their awesome Cuban sandwich and decided to try it out. I went with some friends on a Friday night and it was a little busy. We ordered at the window and found seats at the bar where we got our drinks. I ordered a mojito and it was refreshing. It took a while to get my sandwich but it was huge and warm when it came out. The bread was pressed and crispy. The ham, pork, and pickles were delicious. The pork was a little greasy and the bread got a little soggy but I didn't mind at all. New to Bodega is their basket of fries and I shared that with a friend. They looked hand cut and some fries were crispy while others softer but it was still good. I'm exited to try more menu items and keep coming back to Bodega.
